
The Employment Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia, today, presented the IPA project "Activation of vulnerable groups on the labor market", supported by the European Union. Reduction of long-term unemployment of people from vulnerable categories and their inclusion in specialized programs and services for the development of skills are the target for the activities implemented through the project, which has a duration of 54 months. Natasa Zdravkovska, project coordinator informs that the project started with a target group - unemployed people, beneficiaries of guaranteed minimum assistance (GMP), and during the implementation it expanded to include people from other vulnerable categories such as long-term unemployed people, young people up to 29 years old, women, Roma and people with disabilities. It emphasizes that the total budget of the project is 1,191,401 euros, of which 3,000,000 euros are funds provided by the Delegation of the European Union/IPA, 347,768 euros from national funding and 841,633 euros from the budget of the Employment Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia.
