Presidential candidates Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and Stevo Pendarovski, on May 3, 2019, will have a meeting with more than 1,000 Roma citizens within the campaign "We Vote, We Decide". At the today's meeting with journalists, civil activists Akif Kariman and Elvis Shaqiri informed that the civil initiative "AVAJA" collected 10,000 signatures in 14 municipalities.
"The civil initiative AVAYA, in the past 15 days, was actively involved in the field to hear the voice of the Roma people and gathered support from the Roma community regarding the Manifesto with the three priority demands of the Roma community. 10,322 signatures were collected in eight days of field work. This fact indicates the need for more serious efforts to improve the position of the Roma." said Kariman.
