Young engineers from all European countries participated in the 46th Virtual Conference on "Connecting Engineering Perspectives". The conference was organized by the Club of Young Engineers from the Engineering Institution of Macedonia and under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, and was attended by 150 young engineers. The conference also marked the 100-th anniversary of the establishment of the first association of Macedonian engineers..

The young engineers exchanged ideas for the development of personal and professional skills. Numerous motivational speakers and lectures by the directors of EVN, ULTRA, MEPSO, OKTA, KOSTAL and Kolenko, then university professors, experts and many other professionals in the automotive, food and medical industries, energy and construction, shared their knowledge and experiences with young engineers, bridging trends in new technologies such as machine learning, bioengineering, artificial intelligence and finding solutions to combat natural disasters caused by climate change.

The conference was opened by the President of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, the President of the Engineering Institution of Macedonia, Hristina Spasevska, the President of the Macedonian Young Engineers, Nikolina Sutinoska and the Presidents of the European Federations of Engineers and Young Engineers, Ralph Apele and Frederik Schulze Spüntrup.
