Euromax Resources, Vancouver - Euromax has announced that Varshan Gokul has resigned from the company's Board of Directors and resigned as Chief Executive Officer and President, effective August 31, 2020.
As a result, Gokul will no longer be part of the nominated directors who will hold the next annual shareholders' meeting on September 18, 2020.
The company named Tim Morgan-Wynne, the current non-executive "president" and CEO of the company for 8 years, as CEO. Nicolas Treand has been appointed "President", in addition to his existing Executive role as responsible for the "Project" in Northern Macedonia. These appointments take effect on 31 August 2020.
On this occasion, CEO Morgan-Wayne said: “On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to thank Varshan for his responsible and dedicated work so far, managing the Company in complex terms for a period of 9 years as CEO and Chief Financial Officer of the Company ”.
These significant changes are only the first step in our even stronger focus on the realization of our "Project". We positively and with great enthusiasm expected constructive cooperation with the new Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia together to overcome the existing difficulties related to the mining complex "Ilovica-Shtuka".
