The three Macedonian electricity companies, for the ninth time in a row, awarded scholarships to students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius ”in Skopje. Five students from FEEIT are new scholarship holders of AD ESM, EVN Macedonia and AD MEPSO. Scholarships for FEEIT students are traditionally awarded every year, it is a matter of many years of cooperation which is a serious stimulus in their educational process. Scholars receive excellent financial assistance by providing funds for their education, internship opportunities, and employment opportunities in companies.
In accordance with the established practice from 2012, the companies AD ESM, AD MEPSO and EVN Macedonia, awarded five scholarships to first and second year students enrolled in the electrical directions of FEEIT, in the academic year 2019-2020. The scholarships are in the amount of MKD 8,000.00 per month, and are awarded for 10 (ten) months, with the possibility of extension or termination. The financing is planned to last during all study years, with the condition that the average during the study is over 8.0. Energy companies have shown high social responsibility to the community and in the year that brought a serious health and economic crisis, they give great support to the education of future electrical engineers. Companies will continue to support the educational process and the creation of staff that are currently current and necessary in the labor market for the development of our economy.
